Warning: contains spoilers
The article contains spoilers of the Dragon Quest 3. We explain how to defeat Baramos on this page.
Baramos
Attack Pattern
Baramos attacks once or twice. The attack pattern is the routine as below. Baramos repeats this pattern over and over again.
- Kaboom
- Normal Attack
- Blistering Flames
- Normal Attack
- Kafrizzle
- Fuddle
- Kaboom
- Blasto
These below spells are hardly effective on Baramos.
Snooze | Hardly effective |
Fizzle | Hardly effective |
Sap Kasap |
Hardly effective |
Dazzle | Hardly effective |
If Baramos cannot use spell by your fizzle spell, the attack pattern is changed as below. As you already know, Baramos keeps doing this pattern many times.
- Normal Attack
- Blistering Flames
- Normal Attack
- Blasto (No effect)
Be careful that Baramos restores 100 HP every turn.
Strategy
Firstly, all party members put Baramos to sleep. Hero, Priest, and Sage can spell Snooze. Other vocations use a snooze stick. After inflicting sleep, seal Baramos’ spell. Use a Fizzle spell or a staff of antimagic. Secondly, use Oomph, sap, and dazzle to get ready to defeat Baramos after sealing spells. You can decrease the Baramos’ defense twice. Finally, attack Baramos with your full power. Don’t forget to heal party member’s HP.
Blistering Flame is severe. So, the hero, warrior, and thief had better equip dragon shield.Â
I recommend you see the above videos if you don’t get the strategy. In the video, the party members that are all under level 18 defeated Baramos.
