Treasure Hunting with Treasure Map
From here on, I will explain the treasure hunting using the treasure map.
About Treasure Map
Treasure Maps are rarely dropped by monsters. By using them to find treasure, you can get good equipment. Treasure Map has a Search Level. The higher the level, the more likely it is to find good equipment. Since the equipment found in treasure hunts cannot be bought in stores, it is worth going treasure hunting.
As your Progression Rank increases, the chances of finding good equipment in treasure chests increase. Therefore, it is a good idea to complete the scenario before Treasure Hunting. Also, it is recommended to have one of your party members as a “Treasure Hunter” class. The higher the level of your Treasure Hunter, the higher the chance of finding good equipment. The Treasure Hunter class can be obtained in Godongo after completing the game once.
The contents of a treasure chest are determined when you enter the area where the treasure is located. If you save the game before entering the area, you can reload the save file and try again to increase your chances of getting the desired equipment.
How to find Treasure
- Defeat enemies to get a Treasure Map.
- Set the Find Treasure and Excavate proficiencies.
- Move to the location indicated on the Treasure Map. For example, in the case of the image above, you will go to “Bayre Plateau”.
- When you move to the map where the treasure is located, a blue needle appears on the compass in the screen. Move in the direction of the needle.
- If you have the “Find Treasure” skill set, the skill will react when you get close to the treasure. Use the “Find Treasure” skill then.
- Use the Excavate skill to dig up the treasure chest where the treasure chest is buried.
- Open the treasure chest and get the treasure.
Location of Treasure
The contents of the treasure chest are random. Sometimes you will find good things, and sometimes you will not. Also, there are multiple possible locations for treasure chests in each area. The location is determined randomly when you enter the area. Note that the treasure chest may not be located at the location listed below. If there is no treasure at the location shown in the image below, please head in the direction indicated by the blue arrow on the compass. Plus, this article does not include all regions.

You can get as many of these Maps as you want by playing New Game + multiple times. Once you have the required number, complete the story and take a Treasure Hunter Lv6 character with you to Treasure Hunting. This cave is close to town, and there is even treasure chest near the entrance. Therefore, it is the perfect location to retry multiple times until you get your favorite weapon or armor.
