| Note | If Hawke is the main character, investigating the pirates at Melvir Port immediately after defeating the boss triggers a follow-up event. In this case, you will not receive a reward, but you can obtain a limited item. |
(How to report the invasion to the police): Progression Rank 9-13
- Descend into the Melvir Sewers.
- Inspect the door in front of the Pirate’s Hideout within the sewers.
- Choose “Break it open."
- Defeat the boss.
- Talk to the guards and report the pirate invasion plan to them.
(Pirate Invasion: After report): Progression Rank 14-
- Spend the night at the inn on the ground floor. Subsequently, pirates will attack Melvir city.
- Head to the port in Melvir, and an event will occur. At the end of the harbor, there is an optional battle with the boss.
- Ascend the stairs to the 2nd floor of Melvir, and an event movie will occur.
- After the event, head to the Melvir sewers from the 2nd floor.
- Proceed to the mysterious temple in the northwest direction of the map, and an event will occur.
- Interact with the priests, and you will engage in three consecutive battles with the Power Devil, Cyclops, and Saruin priests. This battle is not mandatory.
- Enter Elizabeth Palace.
- Go to the throne room on the 2nd floor of Elizabeth Palace.
- Defeat the boss.
- Receive the reward.
(Pirate Invasion: No report): Progression Rank 16-
- Melvir comes under attack when your progression rank reaches 16 and you fail to report the invasion to the Melvir police.
- The rest is the same as the previous two.
Before heading to the throne room in the Elizabeth Palace, retrieve items from the treasure chests on the 1st basement floor and the 1st floor. It is useful to set the trap release skill in advance. Only if you have previously completed the quest “A Suspicious Demise," go to the basement of Temple Errol again after this quest “Pirate Invasion" is over, and you will fight against Minion of Saruin.
