Abyssal Death is an F.O.E. that appears on the fifth basement floor. It will pursue you upon detection, but it moves at a slow pace.
This F.O.E. exhibits resistance against physical attacks, making it advantageous to have a Zodiac in your party to deal damage more effectively. Alternatively, you can utilize Gladiator’s Freezing Blow or Sovereign’s Fire Arm, Freeze Arm, Shock Arm, etc. Sleep-based attacks prove effective against this F.O.E., and there is also a low chance of confusing it. However, most other abnormal status attacks may not be as effective. The Abyssal Death’s 'Tear Apart’ skill is powerful. If you find it challenging to defeat, I suggest raising your character’s level and ensuring your armor is adequately prepared before attempting again.
Crocodile Hide is a material used for crafting legguards. These legguards provide resistance against Slash, Pierce, and Crush damage types. It is highly recommended to equip them. Additionally, the rare drop obtained from Crocodile is also used as a material for crafting the Crossbow. The Crossbow proves to be particularly effective during your exploration of the Second Stratum.
