The Ancient Temples are dungeons where you can obtain powerful offensive elemental magic by defeating the guardians. It consists of a total of seven maps, including the fortress, within the fortress, and the fifth basement floor inside The Ancient Temple. The Guardian serves as the boss in the “Sanctuary,” located on the fifth basement floor. By defeating the Guardians, you can acquire forbidden magic of each attribute and recipis for equipment. Moreover, defeating all the Guardians in the six fortresses will reward you with three marks, allowing you to change your occupation to that of a Shaman.

The enemies in The Ancient Temples are level 36, making them relatively weak. However, be cautious as certain areas have hidden pitfalls, and falling into them will result in the loss of your character. You may consider setting the Steadfast skill or equipping items such as Winged boots, Winged Ring, Sidhe Shoes, and Sidhe Ring. Additionally, Hawkman, Hyppogriph, and Cockatrice are capable of avoiding falls.

Requirements

In Chapter 4, head to Phidoc Castle after completing the story battle at Barnicia Castle. Then, read the Warren Report titled “The Ancient Temples.” Once you have read this report, the six fortresses will appear on the map. To enter the Ancient Temple, make sure to have one of the “Phoraena Sisters” in your unit.

The Ancient Temple is situated within each fortress. Each sanctum in the temple is guarded by a boss, but the union level 40 unit will be able to defeat the boss.
