Saruin is the final boss of the game. To beat this boss, you will clear the game. The final dungeon where the final boss is located is in Isthmus area. There are three types of final bosses in Romancing Saga Minstrel Song Remastered.
- Normal Saruin
- Saruin the True Power (=10FS Saruin)
- Ultimate Saruin ※ The strongest one
As you know, Ultimate Saruin is the strongest boss of this game. This article introduces the final boss in normal Saruin.
The Saruin’s initial HP and number of attacks increase according to the number of Fatestones offered in the last dungeon. If all 10 Fatestones are offered to Saruin, its HP will be 90,000 and it will attack up to 4 times per turn. Even if you have not offered Fatestones, if they are taken by the Minion of Saruin or you abandon the Fatestone quest, it is the same as if you had offered them.

The initial form of the Saruin often deflects our attacks. Attack patiently and repeatedly, or use body techniques that will not be deflected. Also, Saruin has a skill “Empty Glimmer” that attacks all allies in the front row. Before the battle, place only one person in the front row so that only one ally is attacked. An ally who is animated while dead is controlled by Saruin. Unless the manipulated man dies again, the ally will remain manipulated. Recover the HP as soon as an ally dies. In addition, equipping the Fatestone “Moonstone” can disable the animate.

In the second form of the fight against Saruin, 19 pillars appear in the background. These pillars reduce the damage inflicted by allies and the amount of healing magic recovered by allies. Pillars are lost one by one as they are damaged. The Saruin uses a technique called “Rain of Blades” in about seven turns. Also, it rebilids all 19 pillars. Try to destroy all the pillars no matter what. Also, it is a good idea to cast Revive spell to all allies and fight to keep it.
