This superboss “Sanguine Cavalier” and “Sanguine Dinostrider” are one of the 10 Superbosses. The boss will spawn two at a time.
This superboss “Sanguine Dinostrider” will use status effects to turn you into a berserker. It will also use attacks that will stun you, so you need to prepare for these effects. To prevent becoming a berserker, you need Dragon’s Eye (Glimmered). You should also prepare Kitten Socks, which completely prevents stun. If we had enough of these two items, this fight would be much easier.
In this battle, Sanguine Dinostrider is protecting Sanguine Cavalier. If you attack Sanguine Cavalier directly, Sanguine Dinostrider will take the damage instead. To damage Sanguine Cavalier, you must either use an area attack or defeat Sanguine Dinostrider first. It has a counter skill. If you attack it directly, it may counterattack. In the video above, the player attempted to attack it directly several times, but was successfully countered each time. However, if you attack with arrows, Sanguine Cavalier will use Missile Shield to protect Sanguine Dinostrider. If you attack with magic, Sanguine Cavalier will use Anti-magic to protect Sanguine Dinostrider. These bosses are tough opponents, but we should attack with skills that cannot be countered. For example, throwing techniques such as a suplex and jackhammer are Battle skills that cannot be countered. It would also be a good idea to try attacking with these. In addition, Sanguine Dinostrider is vulnerable to status effects. Therefore, it is also effective to use attacks such as sleep or charm. In the above video, I was trying to inflict sleep and charm on Sanguine Dinostrider using Hypnotism and Synthesized Mind Blast. They are not the strongest among super bosses. You should give it a try to challenge yourself.
