Master Tonberry

Poison and sleep are effective against Master Tonberry. Inflict poison and sleep first. After that, you use magic or magical attack not to wake the boss up. Use sleep again when it wakes up. As you already know, Phantom Rush is a magical attack.
Samurai Soul

Samurai Soul is weak to confuse and poison. Two party members keep casting confuse and the other two members damage it using magical attacks. Don’t forget to use Bio or Bioblaster to inflict poison.
In the pixel remaster, even if you inflict confusion on the samurai, it will not suicide itself.

Firstly, cast Odin to defeat Erebus except for the bottom-left one. It can absorb all elemental attacks. So we have to use non-bounced attacks, such as Meteor and Ultima. In the above video, I used Traveler of the Lore to defeat the bottom-left Erebus.
Secondly, Hidon uses Grand Delta after four Erebus disappears. Let Strago learn the skill. If you are a low-level player, it will cause K.O to your party. Jump someone except Strago before Hidon uses the skill. Strago can learn the skill even if he would K.O. After that, use Holy water to Hidon.

Deathgaze randomly encounters when flying on the Falcon in the world of ruin. Deathgaze is vulnerable to Holy-elemental attack. Use Holy or holy rods to defeat. If you are a low-level player, you will not defeat it once. When it flees, it does not recover its lost health. Fly away several times all over the world to encounter Deathgaze.
