Firstly, use Sleep to the upper enemy named Curlax. The upper one can cast Arise and White Wind. And then, cast Death to the left one named Laragorn. You can inflict Berserk on the right one. Keep sleeping the upper one and defeat it with magic or items.Â

At the beginning of the battle, Wrexsoul uses Fury to possess one of the party member’s bodies. If it possesses someone, you cannot defeat Arexsoul. So, you have to kill someone who is possessed to put it away. Firstly, you grant invisible status to all party members in advance. When Wrexsoul possesses someone who is invisible, its status wears off. So, you can find someone who is possessed by Wrexsoul easily. Use Berserk to both Soul Savers to prevent magic. In the Pixel Remaster version, Banish does not work. Even if you cast it, both soul savers just revive soon. Ignore the two after defeating Arexsoul.
Secondly, kill someone who is possessed. Wrexsoul appears when someone who is possessed dies. After that, use ice-elemental attack to Wrexsoul. It uses Fury again some turns later. If that’s the case, you can do the same thing once more. Wrexsoul and Soul Savers can absorb Holy. Don’t use Holy or holy rods.

Magic Master is vulnerable to Berserk. Use it first. And then, use vanish all members to grant invisible status. In version 1.0.5, Magic Master can cast Ultima even if you’ve already inflicted Berserk. Cast Reraise to all party members before defeating the boss.
It is also good to wear a reflect ring to all members, not using Berserk. If that’s the case, Magic Master uses Ultima at the final attack.
