FF6 Low Level Guide 10 – Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster

You can earn Magic AP easily in the desert of South Maranda, beating Cactuer.
Ultima Buster

Ultima Buster’s magic is too powerful. So, equip Minerva Bustier, Flame Shield, Thunder Shield, Ice Shield, and Snow Scarf. Don’t cast any elemental magic to Ultima Buster. Cast Slow first, and then use superballs. The balls are sold at the item shop of Tzen. Just in case, cast reraise to all members.

It must be a tough battle if you are a low-level player. You might want to learn Reraise, Slow, Slowga, Stop, and Thundaga. Don’t defeat Ketu and Rafu. Because Inferno casts Magitek Barrier and Meteor after defeating Ketu or Rafu. Katu and Rafu revive automatically in a while. Also, don’t use Ultima, Meteor, and superballs, which can attack to all enemies. You can defeat all when you have to beat Inferno only.
Cast Slowga and Stop to Ketu and Rahu first. Plus, cast Reraise to all members. After that, use Thundaga to Inferno only. Also, It is good to use Debilitator to inflict an elemental weakness. Use stop again immediately when it wears off.

Cast Slow first, and then use Light-elemental attack or superballs. Probably, using superballs is an effective way to damage if you are a low-level player. You can damage using superballs higher than any lightning elemental attack. Some Guardian’s skills, such as Tentacle, can take damage all party members. So, you have to grant invisible status or cast Reraise.
