This is the list for the final battle. Check it out if you want to beat Kefka with a low-level party. I found some bugs about Quick in the Pixel Remaster version 1.0.4. So, I remove the magic from the list.

1. Statue of the Gods A, B, C
Name | Statue of the Gods A (Short Arm) |
Location | Kefka’s Tower |
HP | 27,000 |
Skill | Normal Attack Normal Attack as a counter Razor Gale |
Weakness | Water Slow Silence Berserk |
Name | Statue of the Gods B (Long Arm) |

Weakness | Petrify Instant Death |
Name | Statue of the Gods C (Visage) |
HP | 30,000 |
Skill | Normal Attack Sapping Strike Quake Magnitude 8 Dread Gaze Reverse Polarty Protect Haste |
Weakness | Fire Darkness |
Cast Death or Break to Statue of the Gods B and Slow and Berserk to Statue of the Gods A first. Then, use Firaga or Fire Rods to Statue of the Gods C. The C is weak to fire. After defeating the C, defeat the A by using superballs. You might also want to inflict some weakness. You can avoid their normal attack using Vanish.
2. Statue of the Gods D, E, F, G
Name | Statue of the Gods D (Tiger) |
Location | Kefka’s Tower |
HP | 30,000 |
Skill | Normal Attack Northern Cross Southern Cross Flare Star |

Weakness | Silence |
Name | Statue of the Gods G (Power) |
HP | 28,000 |
Skill | Normal Attack 10-Hit Combo (if killed) |
Weakness | Poison Stop Slow |
Cast Death to Statue of the Gods E and Silence to Statue of the Gods F first. So, you can nullify the F itself. After that, use Slow and Stop to Statue of the Gods G and inflict poison on Statue of the gods D to damage with poison-slip. Use Ice-elemental attack to the D. Cast Stop to the G again and again when it wears off. Attack the G after defeating the D. It is good to inflict some weakness. Lastly, attack the rest of the statue F. In the Final Fantasy 6, Silence status never wears off during a battle. I highly recommend you cast reraise to all members before defeating the F.
3. Statue of the Gods H, I
Name | Statue of the Gods H (Lady) |
Location | Kefka’s Tower |
HP | 9,999 |
Skill | Normal Attack Repose ※ Sleep by Physical Attack White Wind Arise |
Weakness | – |
Name | Statue of the Gods I (Rest) |
HP | 40,000 |
Skill |
Normal Attack Meltdown Tornado Doom Repose (if killed) ※ Instant Death by Physical Attack |
(If fell below its HP 10,240) Trine Meteor |
|
Weakness | – |
We had better defeat Statue of the god H first as it can cast Arise and White Wind. The H is immune to Debiliator. So, cast Flare and Ultima or use superballs. It has 9999 HP only. Defeat it immediately.
It is important to calculate Statue of the god I’s HP. Because it uses Meteor or Trine, if it’s HP is under 10,240. Inflict weakness while the I still has high HP. I recommend that you inflict holy-elemental weakness on it. Summon Golem, Fenrir, or Phantom when its HP goes down near 10240. They can prevent Repose as a final attack. Use holy rods all at once to defeat the I after summoning them. A superball causes damage randomly to all enemies from 256 to 8192. Using superball might be good, but there’s a chance not to defeat the I. If that’s the case, you are likely to lose this last battle.
4. Kefka
Name | Kefka |
Location | Kefka’s Tower |
HP | 62,000 |
MP | 38,000 |
Skill | Normal Attack Havoc Wing FIraga Blizzaga Thundaga Heartless Angel Hyperdrive (as a counter) |
(If fell below its 32,640) Meteor Ultima Trine Forsaken Vengeance Havoc Wing |
|
Weakness | – |
Kefka is the strongest of the Final Fantasy 6 world. It is important for a low-level player to calculate Kefka’s HP during the battle. Because he uses Forsaken when his HP falls down 32,640. The magic deals unblockable non-elemental damage to all party members. You have to cast Reraise to ones before that.
Firstly, cast Reraise to all members and inflict holy-elemental weakness. Ignore his Heartless Angel. Secondly, damage him using Flare and Ultima before his HP goes down near 32,640. It is also good that you attack inflicted weakness. Using superballs is okay, but it is hard to calculate his HP.
Kefka uses Forsaken regularly while his HP is under 32640. It is inevitable magic, but all “Reraised” members revive after that. You might want to reraise again and use holy rods on him all at once. Use Echo Screens or Remedies to the man who can cast Reraise when he uses trine. Don’t forget that his vengeance can erase all positive status, such as Haste and Reraise.
